@Andrew Schulman (test) It is open source and can be free depending on the modules one decides to use, and whether one wants to self-host or not.
From my poking around, it seems to be more accounting-focused than many out-of-the-box accounting softwares because of its emphasis on the the general ledger and Journal. Also, reporting functionalities seem much more flexible, though the tradeoff may be more manual configuration of reporting categories.
