  • 1.  Asking for a friend: Communications policy related to criticizing government?

    Given the current climate, does anyone’s organization have a policy related to criticizing government in public spheres (social media, public appearances, etc.) for core staff and/or project staff?

    Not to restrict this type of speech but rather to provide any guidelines around it.

    (Gratuitous dog picture is totally unrelated to the question.)

    We don’t have one policy per se but I have some talking points I use when reviewing draft statements. If this is a question from a client of yours feel free to give them my email and I can chat with them about it.
