We provide fundraising and some grant writing support. Our organization does fundraising for our operations, so we offer guidance, toolkits and promotions on social media for our projects, and try to provide resources to help them skillup in fundraising so they can be empowered to do this on their own as well. We also provide grant writing support to projects that are not well resourced and provide review and editing for most grants our projects want to apply for. We usually are more involved in public/federal grants so we can be sure our administrative costs are covered in the budgets. This strategy works well for us, but we recently found there are more grants than staff have time for, so we’ve been interviewing grant writers who can consult with us on one off grants/projects.
