Hi @Laura Ciotti - Thanks for posting this. Can you clarify what you’re looking for here? When you say “proposal,” are you looking for a menu of what other sponsors provide?

I’m interested to hear what others have to say about this, but in my experience, the additional service really revolves around the sponsor managing accounts payable directly, rather than just regranting funds to the project. And it often just involves adding a point or two to the shared cost/admin cost rate (rather than a flat monthly fee.)

Thanks for asking this clarifying question! Yes, I was thinking of a proposal that included a “menu” of what we will provide, so the scope of our agreement is clear. Things we will provide include QBO setup and management, accounts payable, payroll, monthly account reconciliation, and creating financial reports. We’ll also create and submit their funder reports. This is all outside of our Model C fiscal sponsorship, so we prefer to create a separate fee-for-service agreement rather than add a percentage to our 7% admin cost, to keep the service work separate from the fiscal sponsorship allocation, but I understand that others might do this differently.

Just a follow up - we found a few service agreements that we’ll be able to piece together to work for us. I’m happy to share a template here when that’s done!
