I’ve been approached by a plucky student looking for summer experience in non profit finance and accounting. Mission.Earth can’t accommodate a full-time intern at the moment (though I have floated a few hours over the summer part-time helping prepare our audit).
Do any of you or any of your FSP’s have need for some additional bookkeeping and finance help this summer?

From Ben: “I’m currently looking to gain more experience in nonprofit finance and operations, especially in areas like financial modeling, working with income statements and cash flow statements, grant tracking, and accounting. I have a strong interest in Excel and am eager to build hands-on skills in financial systems and tools used by mission-driven organizations.
Ideally, I’d love to find a full-time opportunity, but I’m also open to part-time roles — especially if they offer learning potential. While I do need money to eat, I’m primarily focused on gaining experience right now so am happy to volunteer if that’s what’s available. Just to make sure you're aware, I am a student at UMass Amherst so I won't be able to maintain a full-time position as of September 1st, when the fall semester starts (although part-time remote will be manageable with my fall academic schedule)”
