Fiscal Sponsor Organizations

Hi there - we have a new job description for a Director of Project Engagement. Essential job duties are:

• Work with the ESI Executive Director and Board to develop and implement a comprehensive strategy for ESI’s fiscal sponsorship program that is aligned with ESI’s mission and goals.

• Act as primary point-of-contact and navigator for ESI sponsored projects.

• Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with ESI sponsored projects as well as with other local, regional and national fiscal sponsor organizations.

• Develop a charter for the Project Partner Collaborative; plan and facilitate regular collaborative meetings.

• Respond to and evaluate inquiries from prospective projects and make recommendations for project selection to ESI Executive Director and Board.

• Lead project onboarding and offboarding processes.

• Support the Director of Finance and Project Directors in the development and implementation of annual operating budgets and in monitoring project performance against budget.

• Provide and coordinate technical assistance and support to sponsored projects.

• Establish metrics and key performance indicators to assess the impact and effectiveness of ESI’s sponsored projects.

Other duties as assigned.

And just to confirm - this position is leading the FS program (day-to-day ops and strategy)?

@Andrew Schulman thanks for suggesting the job board - will definitely take a look. Yes this person would do both. Fiscal sponsorship is not our primary work so I’m hoping that this person will first manage the couple of projects we have, review applications as we receive them, then look to building out this arm of our work in the long term
