    Should fiscal sponsors require their model C grantees to have insurance that covers the grantee’s activities and include the sponsor as additionally insured?

    IMO, yes.

    Edit to add: If for some reason a Model C project doesn’t have the ability to secure insurance then the next best thing would be to have a strong indemnification clause in the sponsorship agreement.

    I’ve always thought this was a baseline requirement for Model C projects…whoops!
