  • 1.  Setting Up Endowments for Projects

    We are sometimes asked by projects if they can park money in a high-interest bearing account in order to launch an endowment fund.

    Wondering if anyone does this and if/so, how and with what policies/constraints, etc?

    Just now seeing this. We don’t provide the ability to park project $ in interest bearing accounts, but we do have an investment firm that handles investments for our org and projects with $500K+ in cash. We have 2 projects with invested funds & use BNY Mellon to manage them.
